"RCI Nightly Stays" RCI Points Account

I spoke with a Marshal at RCI and he stated they would NOT be giving out POINTS accounts to WEEKS members. Denis Burns

I just called the RCI/BG number given on the RCI nightly stays web page, gave them my RCI Weeks number, and he gave me an RCI Points Number. He pointed out that I will not be able to do online reservations (which the BG web site also said). I asked for confirmation of being able to do online searching and he said that they don't have it working yet even though the BG web site says it is.

Any further clarification on PFD for Bluegreen resorts?

Now that the dust has settled a bit on this new feature, does anyone have a clearer understanding of whether we can still deposit Bluegreen weeks into the RCI Points system via PFD?

What I'm gathering from the early reading is that we *might* be able to do it on resorts that don't affiliate with RCI Points.

I'm not seeing the RCI Points logo next to any of the Bluegreen resorts yet in the RCI Resort Directory.

Several of the resorts have availability in both Points and Weeks at this stage of the game. I am assuming from this that seeing a given resort in Weeks is nonconclusive (ie, it still might be affiliated with Points), but seeing it Points tells me that it is now Points affiliated. Does that seem right?

Online searching still down

I asked for confirmation of being able to do online searching and he said that they don't have it working yet even though the BG web site says it is. Charles

I, and others, have not been able to do online searching of RCI Points availability since we cannot register. I get the message that I live outside of the USA and can't register to do online searching. My RCI Number starts with an "8" and that seems to be the code that tells the computer that I can't search. Other "8" people say the same thing. RCI IT people were supposed to be working on that problem last night but they didn't fix it or didn't yet turn it on. Sigh.

If any Bluegreen "8" people who do not have another RCI Points Account can do an online search, let me know.
