  • Grand Yacht Club

Has anyone ever used the Grand Yacht Club (from Traveler Plus). I have tried some searches, but have yet to find any reviews.

      Grand Yacht Club

I have not used the GYC, but talked to Captain Mike who was very friendly and seemed eager to please. I also have talked to sales specialist or associates at updates on 2 occasions who said it was great and that Mike and his crew were very accomodating. I defintely will try it in the future.

        Loved Grand Yacht Club!

I have used the Grand Yacht Club and loved it! The crew (included Capt Mike) was awesome--- very accomodating and made sure to it that we had a great time. We went snorkeling, Sea-Doo'ing, and deep sea fishing on our 4 day / 3 night trip on the South Beach Party trip. It is a great way to enjoy what it is like to own a yacht without the expense of ownership. We have already booked our next trip with the Grand Yacht Club.

If you have Traveler Plus, you can see several itineraries and prices under the Cash Smart option. Here are a few examples:

            The Getaway
            3 days and 2 nights

There are plenty of options aboard a luxurious three-bedroom sport yacht—big game fishing, cruising, kayaking or snorkeling. It is just you, your guests and “your yacht” for sixty hours of bliss. You are the boss, so it’s your choice of activity—relax, fish or explore.

            Sample itinerary:

Day 1: Check in. Enjoy an evening cruise along the waterways of Fort Lauderdale. Stop for dinner, if you like, before docking for a cozy overnight on board.
Day 2: After a continental breakfast, it’s your choice of fishing, swimming or exploring. Enjoy an al fresco lunch on deck as you take it all in. Later, opt for a casual dockside dinner in one of Fort Lauderdale’s many waterfront eateries. Overnight on board at our home port in Coconut Bay.
Day 3: After continental breakfast, check out and depart.
            From $350 p.p. with 3 couples, or $450 p.p. with 2 couples*

            Sportsman’s Special
            4 days and 3 nights

If boating, fishing and golfing are your passions, you’ll love this chance to explore the deep blue waters and manicured greens.

            Sample itinerary:

Day 1: Embark in Fort Lauderdale for a relaxing sunset cruise. Check out the tackle, then stop at one of the waterfront restaurants to savor their catch of the day, in anticipation of yours!
Day 2: Enjoy big game sport fishing in the blue waters of the Gulf Stream, followed by an evening of leisure aboard your yacht.
Day 3: The championship fairways of a private country club await you for 18 holes of golf (greens fees and ground transportation included).
Day 4: After a continental breakfast, check out and depart.
            From $495 p.p. with 3 couples, or $650 p.p. with 2 couples*

Los Suenos – It’s The Dream
            7 to 10 days

Design your own itinerary on this dream-come-true voyage. See as much (or as little) of nearby coastal islands as you like, and take time to decompress from your daily routine back home.

            Sample itinerary:

Days 1 through 5: Embark in Fort Lauderdale or in the Bahamas. Enjoying continental breakfast and a delicious al fresco lunch daily aboard your yacht, you’ll fill each day with exploration, fishing, snorkeling or relaxation as you cruise among the fascinating islands of the Bahamas. Visit Paradise Island, or Lucaya, Grand Bahama. Play, relax, and entertain, then explore out-islands like Spanish Wells; Harbour Island, the original capital of the Bahamas; Eleuthera and its pink sands and pineapple plantations; Staniel Cay, Exumas where James Bond “007” saved the world in the movie “Thunder Ball.” Try Johnny Cake and lobster stew. It’s your dream, and our job to help make it happen!
Day 6: Return to Fort Lauderdale to enjoy your last night on board.
Day 7: After a continental breakfast, check out and depart.
From $1300 p.p. with 3 couples, or $1750 p.p. with 2 couples* (prices vary based on port of departure, itinerary and number of days)
