Getting same room for Bonus Time/Points

Have any of you booked a points reservation, then added on a couple of nights of bonus time and been able to stay in the same room without moving units?? If so, how did you go about it?? It seems like I read on hear how some have done this in the past and just fishing for info. Thanks!!!

On the flip side...when you do have to move, if you will let the front desk know and have your stuff packed up...they will move you while you are out. This is a very convenient service.

Last summer I stayed at the Fountains using 9 nights of points and 2 nights of bonus time, all in the same room. When I called to tack-on the bonus time nights, I asked the customer service person if it was possible to stay in the same room with the extra nights. He said that the unit I had been assigned was not available for the additional nights, but offered to look for another unit that was available for all the nights desired. He found one in Bldg 8 and moved my original reservation to it from Bldg 2. Then he tacked on the 2 nights of bonus time to the end.

It worked well.

It worked well for me also last year at The Fountains. I had points, bonus time & 2 free nights on top of that. I stayed 8 days in the same room, no problem. Building 10. It was great.
I'll be using points & bonus time again in June & can only hope it works out as well.

Keep me posted on how it turns out. Did you book the bonus time online, then call the front desk at the Fountains to make sure they could be put together so that you didnt have to move? Thanks for any input. John
