Owner's Update

We learn what is happening with BG, new resorts, future plans, and other changes, but despise the last 30 minutes of being insulted sometimes as to why I should by more points. Each sales specialist has his own idea.
Anyone have an idea of how to learn what's without going to these updates?

There has been some great information posted on this forum, if you have specific questions, use the search. Otherwise, for general information, try:

I know that when I have gone to those owner update meetings, I have enough information that in some areas I may know more than the sales people do. Even if you are not trying to learn more than the sales people, you will get more information from these sites on how to best use the BG system.

Another thing to check out is Facebook. May not be a factfilled site, but you will get lots of other owners chatting about their stay at some resorts.

What am I missing by not being on the Yahoo group? I have been there once or twice, and didn't get comfortable in finding information.

Back when the search function was working well the Yahoo group was an excellent resource. It's still a good resource because I think more people post there than here, but it is admittedly more of a challenge to use than it once was.

The Yahoo group also has specific files for resort pictures, resort reviews, etc., which is a nice feature. I admit I prefer the format here but I suspect I've collected more information there. There's considerable overlap over time, but the Yahoo group is more likely to have information on new stuff, in my experience. But either way you get the info before you can do anything about it, as a rule.
