Mailing documents to PCS title.

I'm in the process of purchasing some points from Pinnacle Vacations, but the title company still hasn't received the documents I mailed back to them (I used their enclosed return envelope & dropped it in the mail on 4/12).

Anybody have any idea how long it should take for my closing documents to get back to PCS for processing? I've called the past couple days & PCS still does not have them.

I'm getting worried because it also contained a filled out credit card payment form - which I obviously don't want to fall into the wrong hands.

I live in NJ & the title company is in FL, but I would have expected the documents to make it there by now.

Should I be concerned at this point?

No need to be concerned. If you put the documents into the self address UPS envelope, relax, it could just be mail delay.

As of last Thursday, they still hadn't received my docs, so they sent me a UPS label & I overnighted a new set of papers - which they now have.

I've asked them to destroy the other copies (if they ever show up) & I cancelled the credit card i used with the original papers.

I guess I'll see how well Lifelock protection holds up since the lost mailer contained copies of our drivers licenses, social security #s, birthdates, etc

If anyone was following, the original documents I sent down finally turned up at the title company.

Since they had already gone ahead with the second set that I had sent via UPS, they destroyed the first set.

So all is good - purchase is proceeding as planned and my identity is still in tact (although I had placed a fraud alert with Experian just to be safe)
