Sunshine
We stayed there last June. It was clean and quiet. It does not have all the bells and whistles that the Fountains offers, but the modest pool and hot tub were fine (except for one day they had to close it for maintenance work). The staff was friendly. It is very close to Universal Studios and a large discount mall. You will not have a problem finding restaurants on International Blvd. You can try to get day passes to the Fountains from the office if you wish. Parking can get a bit tight if you come in late at night....you just have to park in the Sunshine lot around the corner of the building. We would give it a 7 out of 10 rating.

We have stayed at the Sunshine Resort on two occassions. Tom describes it very well. Rooms are very nice, pool area is nice, staff was great, just doesnt have the bells and whistles of the fountains. It is in a good location and getting to Disney will take you about 15-20 minutes. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Enjoy your stay!!

was there last year - peaceful, nice pool/deck area, outstanding staff (but I've honestly not found "bad staff" at any BG resort yet). nice units, there were 3 of us and we were very comfortable, clean and reasonably plush unit. Gave my mother the master bedroom and she was elated.
definitely convenient.

We checked it out last June when we were in Orlando. Nice place and good value for the number of points. We also noticed that the activities that we had to pay for at the Fountains were either cheaper or free at the Sunshine resort. Only drawback was that they didn't have activities every day for the kids.

Also, I've seen some listings on eBay for timeshares being sold by a charity. I assume these were donated to the charity. Run a search on eBay. Just make sure you can deduct the donation for at least some kind of tax benefit.
