I was searching for next spring and found the presidential units available. 31,000 for a red week. The description said 1300 sq ft, vaulted ceilings, towel warmers, blue ray DVD, flat screens and Bose surround sound. King and queen beds two bathrooms.

I just got back from there and it was being talked about that it will be opened mid july 2010. Looks like that whole lodge will have there own pool but man thats a lot of points!!... I was also told that the lodge only had 18 rooms in it so i would guess them rooms almost have to be bigger that that but they say 1337sqft. -
I am thinking the points for the Pres Suites at Big Cedar are in the same points range as Long Creek ranch and how can you compare a 3500 sq ft house with a 1300 sq ft pres suite? I've stayed at Long Creek and it's pretty cool. I'm going to check out those presidential suites very soon.Comment

Anyone know what they're doing with these Presidential Units?
They aren't showing up in bonus time, and I have a hard time believing enough people are ponying up to book them at these points values. I assume they're doing some wonderful promotion with them - anyone know?Comment

I saw a few presidential and concierge when I was searching for Long Creek on Bonus Time last week. I was looking for 2 presidential or concierge units or one Cliffs unit for the weekend between 2 consecutive Sunday thru Friday BC cabin stays. Several units came up but never 2 at the same time. I got lucky and picked up the Cliffs unit about the time I was ready to give up. Keep trying you might get lucky too.
I have not heard any info about a promotion, but we really struggled to get in last summer when BG had the Long Creek "tour deal" going on. I think it was 4 nights at LC for around $200. It was almost as difficult this year to get a reservation, so people may be coughing up that many points to get in at BC.
