BG and II - How to get "BLG" added to you existing II account.

I want to add the my BlueGreen account to Interval.

I have an existing Interval account. The rep said it would be fine to add Bluegreen to it but we couldn't figure it out.

When she tried to add it, it would take, as it was requiring to know what I own.

I own 18k points but she wanted size and units, We made some up but no luck.

Does anyone know the process to get all the resorts added. Or do you have to add each one like the Suites at Hershey individually.

I am not an owner yet but spoke to someone - probably Steve Chapin about this.
It is added to your existing II account as "Bluegreen Vacation Club" which allows you to deposit whatever you choose that is an II affiliated resort.
Once you deposit in II, it will show up as "Suites At Hershey" or "Lodge Alley" with the unit size and check-in date.

To add a resort/ownership to your II account you are charged a $39 fee but if you extend your ownership for one (or more) year(s) they will add it for free.

I think that it was me. Mine shows up as BGVC, but when I make a deposit it shows the actual resort. Go ahead and reserve and deposit a week...I think that it will automatically flag you as a BGVC member allowing you to deposit any week that Interval accepts from the club going forward.

I would just try another agent.

I am trying to add to my Worldmark account and they are telling me its not possible. I must have a separate account. I already have 2 II accounts.

Does anyone have BG on a Worldmark or Wyndham II account?

KT, I know u can not add it to your WYN II account as I have one as well. It can only contain your WYN ownership unlike a WYN RCI account.
On another note, my WYN II account is now showing as a "silver" quality designation which is allowing me to see 'better' resorts as well as standard - nice improvement!

You would not be able to add it to your Starwood Vacation Network account either.

I have added BG to my II account. I think I extended my membership for 5 years and was therefore able to do it for free.

II has such a good website. Really puts RCI to shame. Why doesn't RCI stop wasting their time with RCI TV, and fix their search capability. With II, you can search every available week in the system for the next 2 years. RCI points only allows 5 intervals, and I am not sure about weeks.

The thing to remember about II is that you have to have a week deposited to search the exchange pool. So you will have to use your BG points to reserve a week, then deposit it with II. I have always rung BG and had the representative choose the week for me. Even if a resort is affiliated with II, I think sometimes only certain units are eligible for deposit. The BG representative will directly be able to see the best use of your points for an II exchange.

It shows as the actual resort deposited.

At this point, I have deposited Lodge Alley in (4 July studio), Harbour Lights (4 July 2BR), and a Villa Roma (1BR Xmas). And of course, many CMV weeks.

I love BG and love learning to use it. The problem is the more the learn the more I want to buy.

Anyone know which ones are decent traders. Which is the cheapest trader?

I am not getting anything that allows me to see the list....all I see is a deposited "SND" with "Supplemental Week" above it.

I do not think the ownership has been added correctly.

Bluegreen was finally added to my II account today. I called to add it and pay
the fee on 2/2 - I waited untill 2/7 before I called II again - they said they
were waiting to get verification from bluegreen.
I called BG 2/8 and 2/9 with not results - basically put on hold and no one
returned to the line!
Emailed customer service thru the site 2/10 - got this reply 2/14.

I went online and could not see the "BLG" in my account - called II and spoke to a vacation councelor who said he could "see" the ownership but it needed to be 'activated' by depositing my week. I gave him the code for Shenandoah Crossing and he immediately deposited my week.
As Anita suggested, it is listed as a "Supplemental Week" with the code for
Shenandoah Crossing underneath it.

So it was a bit of effort but now is done.....hope this helps someone else.
Going forward I will have to call to deposit as each resort has different coding
but it is a minor inconvenience.

And Steve Chapin answered me.....

You shouldn't have to. On my account, when I hit the button to
deposit a week, it takes me to a screen wher e I can select the BG
resort, week, unit number, etc.

Now, that interface is the one I've complained about as not working
(it won't properly accept my UDI white weeks), but it's there...

Update - I was away 2/18-27

2/27 I sent the following email to my II contact....


Hi Ms Patrice,
I am hoping you can help me with another issue.

On 2/2 or 2/3 I paid a 1 year extension to add my Bluegreen Vacation Club "BLG" to my II account # XXXXXXXX.
After several calls to II and Bluegreen, I was able to work thru BG customer service and was told on 2/16 was told my BLG was added to my account.
I could not see this in my online account but the II call center person told me it was there but needed to be activated?
Anyway, I deposited over the phone SND Shenandoah Crossing resort - it now shows in my account as a Supplemental Week with SND under it - I understand that this is a good thing as it allows me to search online.

What I am interested in is seeing my "BLG" ownership added - I understand from other BLG owners that with this listing, you are able to utilize a drop down menu (similar to Marriott Florida Club "MOI") to deposit/search with other resorts.

Is this information correct? And if it is, could you help me get my account set up correctly?
