  • PA Attorney General settles with Bluegreen!

AG Reaches Settlement with Bluegreen Resorts|abc27 News

    Very interesting settlement..

"......Those who were called on the "Do Not Call" list will receive $100. And there's a big break for consumers who were pressured into signing timeshare contracts, in some cases worth $20,000 to $40,000.

"The people who actually signed the contract, if they have not used the timeshare more than three times and filed a complaint with us, they can get out of the agreement and get any money they paid returned to them," Corbett said.

Consumers have until June 24 to file a complaint with the attorney general's office. You can file a complaint by calling 1-800-441-2555, or file online at www.attorneygeneral.gov.............."

I would be RICH if I could get $100 for all the unsolicited calls I get (I have never had a call from BGVC) as I am on the DNC list.

That is unbelievable that they would allow people to get their purchase price back if they "only" used their TS 3X's...Three Times????
Think of all the people who have purchased TSs (not just BGVC) and NEVER used their ownership - we know this is true as people have posted here and on other sites that they have done just that.

It will be interesting to watch this as it develops - thanks for posting.
