OK.... Any chance BGVC wakes up and offers FREE WiFi - How to Tether!

I have a BB Curve 8330....do you have extra charges with your DROID - I already pay the $29.95 monthly internet access fee for the BB.

I do have the cable that came with the phone to since it with computer/calendar.

I have a BB Curve with Verizon and tether my computer with no extra charge from Verizon. I just went to App World on the phone and typed in "tether" The app came up as a free trial download. I believe after the free trial it is $50 (so my DS Jon says ... I haven't been charged yet). After it downloads to your BB you hook up via your USB cable to the computer and have to download a program from your phone to the computer. After that, you should be good to go. Just hook up via USB cable, start the tether app on the phone.

I've used it a couple of times and haven't had any additional charges from Verizon as it falls under my $29.95 data usage. Now if I used it a lot, I don't know if I would exceed a certain limit or not ... I haven't looked into that yet.

From what I understand, there is a fee but it is very low and you only activate/pay for the service when you use it....so if u only want it for three days - that is all u pay for after the initial set up.
