How many BG pts is enough??

I'm considering a BG purchase, any input would be appreciated.

Since you have not given any detail, start by reading the stickies on the BlueGreen forum, that should give you some information. Then feel free to ask questions about what you're thinking about. We have quite a few experts around here.

Things to think about to find an answer to your question:
How often do you want to vacation (weeks or days)?
Where do you want to go?
What size unit do you want (how many bedrooms)?
Will you be able to put your request in at 11 months and get the unit you want, or will it be gone by then? You won't get prime time at Big Cedar or many other resorts 11 months out. You need premier level to request further out.
Do you want bonus time for any of the resorts?
Do you want to be able to use the Select Connection resorts and other Premier benefits?

When you have answers to these, you will have a better idea of how many points you need as these make a difference in the number of points required and how/where they are purchased.

Or, my short answer, based on what I have needed, it would need to be 12,000-20,000 minimum. It is up to you to find the answer to those questions above.
