We went to a recent owner update in Orlando and was told that BG joined another club like Shell vacations and we would have more access to other places and it could be reserved on line just like the other BG resorts. Is this true?

Bluegreen and Shell have made their inventory available to both clubs I think almost two years ago now, however as far as I'm aware you cannot book online. I'm a Bluegreen owner and have booked several vacations through select connections at SVC at Little Sweden in Fish Creek WI. You can't book a week however until 8 months out making a lot of the inventory unavailable. Partial week is five months out. Also I believe there is a small fee associated if you are not a gold or platinum member of Bluegreen. I think it still is a nice feature and opens up even more places to travel and stay. Shell has very nice units. I'm no expert, but this has been my experience thus far with the venture between SVC and BG. -
It is true that if you have Traveler Plus and made a qualifying purchase after July 1, 2006, then you have access to Select Connections. That is the exchange feature that allows Bluegreen owners to use their points to book any of approximately 20 Shell Vacation Club resorts. We can book full weeks 8 mores or less from check in. Partial weeks 3 months or less from check in.Originally posted by trites

There is no online interface. You have to call up Traveler Plus to ask for availability.Comment

I know about select connections but we were told they are affiliated with i think interval vacations and that we would be able to book online . We used little swedan 2 summers ago and really enjoyed ourselves.Comment
