A few days ago I had my first owners update in many years. I bought my points from a realtor many years ago and let my travelers plus expire because I never used it. In my update meeting, I was told that I could use my points on RCI nightly basis (which would be useful to me) if I would added points now through Bluegreen. I added 3000 to be able to use the RCI exchange. However, I logged into my account and it looks like I could do the same by simply renewing my Travelers Plus account. Is there any reason for me to buy new points through Bluegreen? I can still rescind my purchase. I am silver now. Would it be a good idea to add to the gold level now at resale rates? I understand gold is going up soon. Thanks.
