New addition to online reservation-unit number listing

Last year I did an exchange for Sanibel Island for next May 2011 and when I got the confirmation the unit number was on it. I went into my account and printed it out. Recently when I checked my account the confirmation is there but they removed the unit number. Just wondering why they did that.

I think, when it comes to not listing the room, it comes down to 'what if', and so the resorts don't want to list the unit number.

My what if lists include:
Bad prior guests-doing damage or bringing in problems (exterminators needed)
Accidents-plumbing problems or other utilities that are not working. We had an AC problem at one resort that should have gotten us moved, but there were no rooms available.
Problems to another unit-water leaks can cause damage to multiple units.

That being said, I still wish the unit number was listed, and if one of the 'what if' problems happen, we could hear 'I'm sorry, but XXX happened and we need to move to you another room. This way, we may be moved to another room and never know it.
