La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club Dear La Cabana Family.
As of yesterday we started with the renovation of our new Lobby area and this renovation will last for 4 months. Once completed, La Cabana will have a brand new Lobby that will be completly modernized and beautiful with elegant decor. We will update you on the progress of the renovation as we go along.

E Units

Thanks for the update. I could not see the E units on the renovation schedule. These are the units that directly face the ocean. Does anyone know when these units will be (or hopefully have been) renovated. Unit 245E specifically. Thanks

Unfortunately E units have not been renovated yet and for whatever reason will not be done until all renovations are completed.

I don't own an E unit and never stayed in one but someone asked this question on the La Cabana owners BB and that was the official answer.

Thanks for the info, Larry. Although depressing, it is good to know before we go on our first Aruba trip in May.

Looking on the positive side, this will be the last time u will stay in an unrenovated unit - all renovations will be completed by summer 2011 according to the schedule posted on the website - so yours might actually be complete by then. I know a friend whose unit is being done this year (week 51,52) and she can not wait to go 12/11 to see it.
