Bonus time availability

I am looking to book bonus time at Hershey for the end of October. When I called last week, I was told there were units designated for bonus time for those days but it was not within 45 days yet. When I called today, there is no unit available but call back to catch a cancellation. Is there any tricks on getting a reservation? Should I call during certain time of the day? Or should I just forget about it.

Online at 48 days

If you do it online, you can do it 48 days before. The online people got the units.

Be Persistent

Keep trying as you may pick up a cancellation. I have had luck getting BT at other resorts around the 10 day cancellation day window. Try checking daily, and you might get lucky.
