    We just returned from 5 days at Shenandoah Crossing.We had a great time. Real nice pools and many things to do. We arrived a day early and stayed in the lodge for 1 night. That was a disapointment. The room was OK but the bathroom was tacky,really in need of remodeling.If i was spending the whole time there I would have been very disapointed. We moved to our 2 bedroom town house the next day, and that was very nice,not luxgurious, but nice. I would go back again.

    At SC right now and were told the amenities such as horse back riding etc that used to be free for UDI owners have all been dropped this is after a special assessment this year go fig. Also we were told the stables are not owned by BG. Went to Louisa court house to pick up my deed and now I'm going back to get the documentation on the resort etc since it refers to the document I was under the impression these services were enumerated, has anyone else been affected?

      I am sure you will find that the original documents give the BOD the legal powers to add or subtract amenities. It is often common for the owners of the unit/weeks to NOT own certain amenities such as golf courses.

        I wonder if the Timbers owners at CMV could lose the golf and ski privileges too?

          Are those privileges included in the deed? Or does the deed simply say that the use is subject to the by-laws, covenants, etc., etc., that are on file in the Courthouse?

          One wonders how the privileges are covered. Does the annual budget include a line item for season passes for the owners? (The developer (RDI?) might have had to do something to sell the timeshares.) Or did the owner of the golf course and ski facility enter into some binding agreement which traded the privileges for land or to get customers? (The golf course and ski hill might have had to do something to survive some bad times.)

          Would be interesting to know. Why don't you write a history of CMV?
