I forgot what I paid for 2010, did the SA go through and really raise the $/point to $0.044/point for 2010? Does that mean that Trust Fund E 2011's rise is only $0.001/pt (0.045 - 0.044) plus $10 on the base fee?
Boca said the SA did not happen. If it did it would not have raised the fee per point. A SA is a one time charge.

So Trust Fund E went up by $.0045 per point.

Your maintenance fees for unit/weeks in various Trust Funds are calculated four different ways.

      1. Your fee is the same fee that the resort HOA determines for that unit/week.

      2. Your fee is the same fee that the resort HOA determines for that unit/week plus a percentage of that fee (I think it is 5%).

      3. The Trust gets bills from various HOA's for all of the unit/weeks in that particular Trust Fund. Each bill is tied to so many points. The Trust simply adds up all the fees and all the points and figures out what is the cost per point. Multiply the cost per point times your number of points and you have your fee.

      4. The Trust gets bills from various HOA's for all of the unit/weeks in that particular Trust Fund. Each bill is tied to so many points.

The Trust simply adds up all the fees to get a Grand Total.

The Trust adds up all the points to get a Points Total. Then the Trust adds up all of the owners in that Trust Fund. The Trust multiplies the number of owners times some Base Dollar Value to get a Base Total.

The Trust subtracts the Base Total from the Grand Total to get a New Total. The Trust divides the New Total by the Points Total to get an Amount per Point.

Multiply your number of points times the Amount per Point and then add the Base Dollar Value and you have your fee.

      Whew.

Note that the mix of unit/weeks will be different in each Trust Fund so the fees will not come out the same.

I do not know if there is an administrative charge thrown in or if our Vacation Club dues cover the determination.

What determines what trust fund you are in?

          Hi there,

I am Grad student at UNLV. Thanks for listing info on maintenance fees. Can you share what determines what fund you are in? Other brands have collections/programs that relates to resort access. Is it the same for BG or is based on a nother parameter such as when purchase or # of points?

          Thanks
