  • Has anyone used the free cruise when signing up with BG?

Besides the taxes stated on the voucher are there any other fees needed?

I've heard there are so many hoops to jump through (combination of expiration date and blackout dates) that few people actually make use of the cruise. Haven't heard about hidden costs, but that doesn't mean there aren't any.

Thanks. Trying to decide if it's even worth it. I'm sure to get a decent cabin we'd have to pay as well.

          Hi,

I used the free cruise in 2009. You have to pay taxes and port fees. The cruises offered were 3-5 day cruises with 2 or 3 ports. Of course, the less ports the less port fees. We took the 4 night Bahamas cruise that stopped at Nassau, Coco Cay, and Key West. With an upgrade to an outside cabin with 2 beds and a porthole, it totaled to about $350 dollars for 2 people. The free room is an inside cabin with bunk beds.

You just follow the instructions to get the voucher and then call with the voucher number to make the reservationhs. It worked exactly like the instructions stated.
