I am seeking some information concerning deeds to Blue Green properties. I have seen others make references to acquiring actual deeds and I am wondering if I am making a mistake not doing this? I have made several purchases in recent months, but I do not receive deeds. I receive the final notarized assignment documents showing me as the owner. Do I need to do something to acquire the deeds and if so, what?

What you have bought is the points agreements in Bluegreen. The actual deed remains titled to Vacation Trust Inc. and they will not release the deed. Your Assignment of Owners Beneficiary Rights acts as your deed showing you that you have ownership of those points. You are given a home resort and a unit and week for inventory control purposes so that they do not oversell the allotment of points in the Club.
