  • Bluegreen Getaway Stations

I saw at the local Six Flags a "Bluegreen Getaway Station". Reportedly they are at every SIx Flags location. They offer a deal of 2 Nights/3 Days and a $25 Gas/Visa Card for $39 on the weekdays, and $69 on Weekend arrivals, at 14 locations. At Orlando and Las Vegas they are offering 3 Nights/4 Days and no $25 card for the same price structure. The catch is going to a 90-minute "preview" at their nearest location. The nights are not at their actual vacation resort, but at a local "5-star hotel".

Is this a good deal? is this a typical timeshare ploy. Any comments would be appreciated in my research.

I've never seen this website before (bluegreengetawaystation.com). It's VERY interesting! Did you see that they have Dallas, TX listed on there! Does that mean they are going to be there next!? I see Las Vegas is listed on there and they just annouced that new location. I hope Texas is next! That would be great for us! We live in the midwest and anything closer than FL would be terrific.

Now for the offer...I'd have to say it's pretty typical. I first heard about Bluegreen through something similar to this. I don't know if I'd say it's a ploy, but an incentive to get you to hear what they have to offer.

      Bluegreen Timeshare

I have done this. We bought ours from Great America in Gurnee. You do sit through a tour for about 3 1/2 hours total so it's longer than what they actually say but it is definitely worth it. We were in a hotel with a water park so it kept the kids busy and I just honestly have to say that it's worth every penny and every minute of your time. I came upon this because I am actually looking for another one to do this year. Hope this helps you!

We picked up our vacation at Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, MO. We ended up going to mountain loft for our tour but we did not get a five star place to syay. I think the name was Budget Hotel or something like that.
