  • Account Help

I purchased from eBay and have used my account and am very pleased. However, I thought I purchased 1 account but it was actually two accounts: 8000 Annual and 8000 Biennal (even). Does this mean (if no points are used) I will have 8000 points odd years and 16000 even years? 1st Contract: 3000 Annual and 3000 Biennial. 2nd Contract: 5000 Annual and 5000 Biennial. I made two reservations and I have 2200 annual points & 100 biennial points left. Why weren't annual points used first since they will expire quicker (5/31/11) vs biennial expire date of 5/31/12.

    Thanks for your help

BG uses a logical way in taking points for a reservation. I suspect that your every two year points are 2010 points, versus 2011 points, which would result in them rolling over to saved points. BG generally uses the points that you are going to loose first within BG rules. There are several smarter people on this forum than me, and perhaps they will provide you with a better explanation.

My recommendation is go to BG online and use the contact us button above and then either send BG a text message or use the Chat on Line function and BG will tell you exactly why the posted the points as they did. You can also call them.

My guess is you own 8000 biennial points deeded at the Falls Village. And, that account is broken up into a 5000 biennial deed and a 3000 biennial deed.

In a biennial account, there are always 2 years of points granted at one time. The first set of points starts off as "annual points" and turns to "saved points" if you don't use them after the first year. The second set of points are labelled "biennial points." Those never turn to saved points and therefore stay labelled as "biennial points" until you next anniversary date at which time they expire or you use them.

Thanks for your help. I have owned Wyndham for a while and I think their contracts are pretty straightforward. I did purchase 8000 points biennial and found out later it was 2 contracts. I have also contacted Bluegreen by email.
