  • BG Premier Cert (Free White Week) & new RCI deposit system

In the past, I have been able to deposit my three free weeks (Platinum) with RCI. Is that no longer possible with the new grid/points system? That would be a real disappointment. My free weeks did very well in the new RCI system.

I do not believe anyone has tried it - the other issue is the "free upgrade" in RCI from a blue to white week ????

What has been "tested' and confirmed is that you can deposit your float and fixed week into your 'old' BGVC RCI weeks account - and your underlying deeded week.

I am hoping they get enough complaints about depositing the free white weeks that they will allow it. So I think you need to complain.

It was stated in another topic that you cannot deposit a reserved week at BG into RCI. You have to reserve it at BG, then go into the new exchange function and exchange it. You can exchange up to 2 years into the future. But THAT will be your reserved exchange. If you have to change it, for some reason, with RCI, I'm sure there are change fees involved.

You apparently can still deposit your deeded week/unit into RCI.

OP was asking specifically about the "free white weeks" that are given to Premiere owners - and I think a LOT of people will be upset if this is no longer allowed.
I would hope that BG and RCI would work out a way to make this still available as it is a MAJOR perk for Gold and Platinum members.
