We were just at the owner update at Christmas Mountain Village last weekend (2-20-11), and they started at $3.49 per point. When they were done they were at $1.45. We did upgrade with them to get to "bronze" level. Now we'll be looking more heavily at the resale market.

You can get them from Pinnacle Vacations for $1.25/point. If you own a qualifying fix/flex week, you can trade it in at a resort and get a better deal. However, the rules are a bit squishy these days on these types of trade ins.

This is awesome info, thanks for posting it. I'm going to try to trade in a flex week in May and shoot for an additional purchase at the magic $1.25/pt.

The $1.25 is thru Pinnacle Vacations - not directly from Bluegreen. $1.45 is extremely low price from BG....very low.

I know. I'm going to try it from BG though. But they may not even offer for me to trade my flex week. I want THEM to bring that up. They may not even know what I own. The sales team for BG is quite pathetic, and if they turn out to be pathetic I'm going to scream it to the whole room. That should end some sales pitches that people are trying to get away from....
