    I had a discussion today with a BG customer preferred service person. It concerned the reposting of my points as saved points when I cancelled a reservation. I pointed out that the expiration date on the saved points was reflected as 3/31/2012, so the points should be annual instead of saved until they roll over.

    She stated that the policy was that once the points are used for a reservation and that reservation was cancelled the points are then saved points. This doesn't seem right to me, but since it is less than month away, I let this one slip.

    If someone has had this problem and overcome it, please let me know. Thanks.

    Apparently this is NOT true.

    It has been stated on the Yahoo group by Boca that this is a programing glitch - if u had canceled the reservation online, the points would have been returned to your account as borrowed or annual points - because you spoke to a human, the system returns them as saved.

    You have to call back and ask to speak to a supervisor who will correct this error for you.

    I did it and it worked.
