Bonus Time Question

Hoping somebody can answer this question (and hopefully the way I would like them to).

With my BG membership I get access to Bonus Time to a 1BDRM for $69.99 a night. Can I make a reservation like with my points in somebody elses name? I have a friend that wants to stay there this weekend, (so time is of the essance) it would be the equivalant of $288 to use my points and only $148 for bonus time.

I called this evening and they tell me I can not do that, but want to make sure!

Bonus time can only be used by yourself. You can not guest name Bonus Time.

Thanks for the quick response, I unfortunately did find and read that online. Darn restrictions, guess they won't get a rental this weekend!

Bonus time

Probably a good rule because otherwise some people would take bonus time and rent it, and not leave it for the owners.

I agree, if I can not rent to recover my maintenance fee costs for that reservation I now send them to the bluegreen rentals site. Looks like you can now do it online without having to call. It would be nice if they gave you a certain number of bonus time rentals for friends and family members though.

That being said, it looks like Joe Schmoe can go in and rent this weekend for less than it would cost me as a member! $288 for me and, wait a minute an hour ago it was $222, and now it is $272? What gives!

you can book with points and rent those ressies out.

Pay attention when groups of people are talking about wanting to go somewhere, you might accidentally score a rental from the friend of a friend ...

bonus time is reserved for owners, they do check ID. So, book bonus time for you and yours, rent your points outs.
