Advice on airfare from CVG to pono kai

Looking for advice on saving money on airfare from Cincinnati to Pono Kai. Have reservations in April 2012 and am looking for help from previous travelers to try to cut costs.

I do not know how close you are to other airports, but i would check the surrounding airport, Dayton, Louisville, Indianapolis, Lexington, and Columbus. CVG has been expensive. Since Delta has slashed the number of flights flights out of CVG since the merger, prices may have settled. However i would check the surrounding airports.

When we planned a February trip to Kauai and Maui, sale prices to Hawaii appeared about 10 - 12 weeks before our trip. No decent prices showed up before that time and I checked every day as soon as the tickets were shown on websites!
