We are planning on attending the NAS air show in VA beach on the 23-24 sept. My first option will be to try and get some bonus time @ williamsburg.

What other options should I investigate via RCI or some other like entity?

Williamsburg has availability with RCI for 6 tpu's in a 1bedroom at Kingsgate and for 7 tpu's in a 2 bedroom at Powhatten Plantation for Sept 23. II has getaways for about $350 for the week

That would be optimal, but we are trying to find something a other then the "Days Inn" . There is another couple coming with us, and if I can pick up a two BR for about $80 a nite, it makes up for the hour drive. If I could find a 2 BR in VA beach for a similar rate, it would be great.

Where to stay in VA Beach

Are you retired military or DOD ? If so you and friends? can stay at the Navy Gateway Inn on NAS for a very reasonable cost. Just check on military lodging. I had to be in China Lake, CA for a funeral and stayed at a Navy Gateway Inn on the China Lake Weapons Station in a one bedroom suite for $47. They also have larger suites and they are very nice.

If you are a member of Interval International, I hear really good things about the Marriott Manor House in Williamsburg (Ford's Colony). It appears to be a little off the beaten path from Colonial Williamsburg, so I don't know where that puts it in relation to Virginia Beach. But, the grounds look beautiful and the units are really nice. I don't know whether it is available as a Getaway or Exchange on Interval - but their inventory is constantly changing - don't give up if you don't see it the first time.
