Well over a year ago I noted that Bluegreen added a new resort - Blue Waters? in Nassau, Bahamas. Living in Florida this is of interest to me since we are able to take quick weekend getaways over to the Bahamas. However, I have yet to see a way to book the resort online? I contacted Owner Services about 6 months ago and was told that they could book it for me, but didn't recommend it as it wasn't up to Bluegreen's standards.

Anyone know the status on this property? Is it currently undergoing renovations? Why is it not available to book online - only by calling Owner Services - is this so they can warn you that it is in need of renovations?

Also anyone been to this property? If so, what are your thoughts? How far out from downtown Nassau is it? Thanks!

Just do a web search for it you can probably even find some reviews.

I am also interested in this resort. Planning to wait until fall 2012 so the renovations will be further alone. Mixed reviews online, small resort right on the water, not too far from town if u look at a map.

Do you have any idea why it doesn't show up on the Bluegreen online booking system - either for points or bonus time?

I too have heard mixed reviews but some were pretty old, that is why I was curious if anyone had actually been there recently. Sounds like the rooms are huge!

Probably for the reason they told you on the phone -- it's not yet up to Bluegreen's standards. I know of another resort you can technically book at that isn't on the online system and that theory would explain that one as well.
