Using unqualified points for Premier level benefits
The 12 month rule was changed to a 13 month rule by the signing of the 4th amendment to the by-laws on September 26, 2006.
Message 41854 on the Yahoo Group pointed it out and I called attention to it using the subject line "13 month rule" in message 54359 (posters often post valuable information on Topic X in an email with a subject heading of Topic M and it easily is missed with the volume of messages the group has).

Airport, once again you have got hold of the wrong end of the stick. Over here if you have a "green" car then you are "rewarded" with lower costs. I could have the big 4x4 etc (infact I have done that been there and bought the tshirt lol) but it would only get me to work in the same time in the same comfort and proberly not as safe, so why lay out all that money when all it does is get you from A to B.
Being a "green" car user means that the savings the govt "gives" me pays for most of my MF no that is what I call a good deal.
I also have qualifications in chemistry and when you talk of carbon footprint then Mine must be greater than yours (and I dont have big feet ) ...... I have just completed a 11000 mile round journey just to come and visit you lot and add a few more $$$ to your coffers.
Glad that you have requested a copy of the By-laws, when stripped to their bare bones it does make for some interesting reading, and once you have digested it then you will understand that if BLuegreen enforces the "rules" we will all lose out. Look back on several posts here,on yahoo and facebook about the $35 saved points rule then read the by-laws, we have all signed saying we accept them ..... read those posts and then tell me bluegreen should always enforce the rules.
Anyway I look out see my "green" car (which by the way is green lol) and think its so nice that our govt is in effect paying my MF which helps a great deal, now all we need is your govt to pay us Brits a few hundred $$$ to come vist you and boost your tourist trade and that will be the spending money sorted lol

That is exactly what is wrong with this world. Your govt "allows" you to buy the car that they want you to buy and then the govt "gives" you savings. Dude, where is your dignity. Stop letting the govt map out your life. Why is the government involved in this "green fantasy" to begin with. This is exactly what the idiots over here art trying to do. They want to "tax the rich corporations" and then they will reward anyone who buys the "green" cars. Guess what, no one wants the stupid cars. The federal government taxes individuals, small businesses and corporations, then they give various departments $XXX,XXX,XXX.XXX. Those departments waste 20 to 30% of that money then they give it back to the same taxpayer as long as they conform. They never should have had the money to begin with.
A truly free economy (The US is not a Truly Free Economy) does not need the govt. to tell them what they can build, what they can sell, what they can drive. The "Marketplace" determines what is best. Look at Hong Kong. The Chinese government Leaves them alone. The "marketplace" determines what they sell, what they manufacture, what they drive, etc. Hong Kong has one of (if not the) strongest economies in the world. If the UK feels that they need to tell you what car you drive, how big you "flat" is, what kind of toilet (loo) you sit on, you will never have it any better than you do right now, and it will probably be worse. This is the most inefficient means of wealth distribution. It always has been, always will be. Look at history then tell me one single socialist country that has ever been successful. There are none.
In the US right now, there are a lot of "do gooders" that want to make sure everyone is treated equally. That is not possible. I grew up in government subsidized housing. I look at government subsidized houseing today, and I see people that have so much more that what I had growing up. If I had to depend on the government like so many do, I am sure I would be right there with them. Instead, I got off my Arse, worked hard and earned my own way. I am by no means rich, but I don't have to ask anyone to pay for what I have. I pay for it myself. If you let the govt pay your way, you will always get less. I hope and pray that the idiots that want our system to be the same as your "failed" system are not successful. However, if they are, I guess I will have to start driving a "smart car" too.
Airport, you got it wrong again nobody told me what car to buy I bought it because I wanted it not because it comes with zero road tax , that my friend is a bonus and allows more holidays
You cant call our syatem when your system brought the world into the mess it is in now, yes you have very cheap housing , you borrow the money to pay for it over a very long period (much longer than us) yet you have so many people defaulting on their house loans, tell my why if you belive that you are still top dog, move over here comes the far east (do you think they are going to work for a bowl of rice for much longer as well ) and India my friend. By the way over here you get no help if you have a house loan. Tax relief on them went years ago. Another point is that we do not have a socialist government and they have not dictated what I buy you say we have failed but then we pay a vist to the US and see what a mess you lot are in we may have problems but not as big as yours, yes things have to go because of the last govt use of our "money" trying to follow the advice of the US govt.
We have our national health service (which is not free we pay 11% natioaal Insurance) it may be not as fancy as yours but when my wife needed treatment for cancer we did not have to worry if our insurance would cover it or would we have to sell our home to pay the bills.
Your country is far from free , why does a timeshare company need your ss number (our NI number ) just think how much Bluegreen knows about you and any Tom , Dick or Harry that works or has worked for them. They only have our Passport number which quite frankly only confirms dob and address, yes they do a credit check but then anyone and everyone can do that.
So far from being down and out and being told what to buy you should realy open your eyes and take a good look at the world.
But now we have said that I am off in my Smart car to work, hope you have waded through the By-Laws and now know all there is to know.
We have smaller house and flats that is true and we do have to have planning controls .... England is the size of Florida but we do have 60 millon people fighting for the space.
