As the whole option of paying to save points is still relatively new for most, I figured asking here would be to the benefit of all.
In the past, if a reservation was cancelled if the points were outside the use year they were automatically were returned as "saved" points.
So my question is, if a reservation is cancelled now and an owner has not elected to save their points for that year what happens to the returned points?
I am thinking that if you call, the rep will tell you that you have to save your points, prior to cancelling in order to get the points back. However, the other option is those doing it online. My concern obviously for some is that these points will just simply not be returned if people are not careful.
