  • Coding of Account Numbers

Vintner asked a question which involves deciphering account codes.

    http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...tml#post460123

I responded that I have two weeks at one resort with the following account numbers: 221514K and 231514K which corresponds to the first two digits being the week numbers (22 and 23), the next four digits being the unit number (1514), and the last letter appearing to be the resort (K = Big Sky). Seems straight forward. But what does a different account of 830-A/44 mean?

The reservation people say that some of the codes make a lot of sense and some make only partial sense. I would like to get a handle on this with your help. I can appreciate that not everyone wants to share the details of their ownership with the entire group. However, if you are willing to privately send me account numbers as well as the following ownership information:

    Resort
    Unit
    Week
    Studio, 1, 2, or 3 bedroom
Annual or EOY (if EOY state Odd or Even)
Full week or Partial Week (if partial state the days)
Anything else that might relate to the account number

    Send information to

    sundin@uwplatt.edu

After I get enough data such that I feel confident about it, I will post the list (without owners names) and keep adding to it as I get more data. And, of course, correct any errors that may show up.
