ok so if i read this right i can buy for pinnacle as long as its quilafied i get bonus time at all resorts no matter how many points or the cost...say for exp 5000 points for $5000...

Correct except for the price example -- qualified points are $1.25/point and above. And you need to consider the fact that you pay transfer fees every time you buy a new batch of points, so it's cheaper to buy one big batch of unqualified points than a bunch of little ones. It could be argued that it's safer to buy the smaller batches every few years rather than end up with points you don't use; depends on how well you can predict your future needs.

You pay MFs based on the number of points you own.
You want to get all your points in one trust fund so that you have ONE base fee of $320 + $0.045 per point

so 10K points will be $320 + 0.045X10,000 - $320+$450=$770
and 20K points will be $320 + 0.045x20,000 - $320+900=$1220
and 25K points will be $320 + 0.045x25,000 - $320+1125=$1445
and 30K points will be $320 + 0.045x30,000 - $320 +1350=$1670
and 40K points will be $320 + 0.045x40,000 - $320 + 1800=$2120

ok great this gives me alot better understanding...so if an average week in red is 12-16000 points (on average at most places i looked at) i guess a 6000 bi is not much use lol ....also if you dont use all your points what happens to them roll over or lose them

They are worth less if you dont use them the first year as in the season you can use them in.
The third year even less, as in only off season which makes them prety worthless.
You can extend their life by putting them into RCI but tbh Itried that myself and found it pretty useless.
The bottom line is if you dont own enough points that give you early booking priveleges then you have little to no chance of getting high season weeks.
If I am wrong on any of these points someone please correct me!.

Oh after the third year they disapear unless they are in RCI

That is worth less (not worthless) as in with the first year they can be used in high red or ultra red as well as red, white and blue. The second year (if you pay the $35 to have them saved/rolled) you can not use them for the ultra or high red points, but they will be fine for red, white and blue point usage.

Option 1: You can make an RCI reservation that you will use in the first, second, or third year but you have to make it during the first year. Option 2: During the second year you can make a reservation but the reservation has to be used within 180 days (used to be 45 days but BG announced this change. I do not know if they implemented it.)

I know you were. That is why I said you can't. Things have changed. When I deposited a few years back I was able to get two nice weeks back to back in Hawaii and then got a third week at Pono Kai.

To do what you want to do, use a different exchange company than RCI.
