    Anyone else have this problem with their Bluegreen account, or know the solution to getting it resolved........SOS!

    We have been having a terrible time getting Bluegreen's Financial Services Department (I believe that is the name) to straighten out our account. We borrow our points a year ahead of time and do not owe our annual fees until October. We noticed that all of a sudden a past due amount showed up on our account and we can't use the online system to make reservations, and we got a call from the Fountains about our reservation in two weeks - they would not honor it unless we contacted Financial Services.

    Well, we spoke with Bluegreen on Monday - they could not figure out what it was we owed. They said the bill had just gone out for our annual fees due in October - but the amount didn't even match that. They would do some more research but in the mean time would take the block off our account so we could once again use the online site and not have a problem at the Fountains. We do not have a loan so that isn't a possibility.

    Wednesday rolled around and no call back from Bluegreen. After contacting them again, they reiterated that they couldn't find anything we owed so we should be fine. But, we told them there was still a message on the web site, and when we called the Fountains, there was still a block on our reservation for a past due balance. We asked the folks at the Fountains to please call corporate so they could explain it was apparently an error that they couldn't seem to get fixed. The woman at Bluegreen could not believe our account was still showing the past due balance - we were staring at it - it was not fixed! She said she would make a notation again.

    It is now Thursday night/Friday early AM. When checking the Bluegreen site it still shows the block and the past due balance. We are frustrated and a bit disgruntled. It has taken them a week and they still have not fixed an error on our account. We still don't know what will happen when we show up at the Fountains next week, or when we will be able to book online again. Th worst part is there has been absolutely no follow up - everyone keeps dropping the ball and we are forced to call them back to get the status. Really???

    We have only owned Bluegreen for a couple of years - but this is the second time there has been a glitch on our account. I have to say we have not had the same problem with our Marriott properties. Their follow through has been much better when there is a problem - maybe not everyone will agree. Bluegreen needs to get their act together when it comes to their financial system and providing follow up on owner's problems to see if they have been addressed. They just don't seem to have a good handle on their computer system - to be able to fix it when there is a glitch.
