I am a Platinum owner deeded at Big Cedar. I have three contracts owned jointly with a close friend and a fourth contract owned by myself, my close friend and my sister. The contracts owned by my friend and I make us Platinum, and are paid in full. The contract my sister is on is for 26,000 points, also fully paid, and since all of the points are in my account, my sister enjoys Platinum benefits through my friend and I, without having actually purchased enough points to be Platinum. In July 2011, without my knowlege, my sister purchased an additional 36,000 points in her name only so she could be Platinum on her own. These points were linked--without my consent--to my account and her maintenance fees were deducted from my prepaid account. Since August 18th, I have been contacting Bluegreen to have my sister's new solo purchase removed from my account since I am not on the contract. I have spoken with the sales personnel in Missouri and the corporate offices in Boca Raton, and have even made the 5-hour drive to Big Cedar to speak with them personally. The solution, I am told, is to "unlink" this last purchase from my account by having the form signed by myself, my friend and my sister. My sister refuses to sign, and there is a high probabilty that she will default on the mortgage she took out to make this purchase. If that happens, the sales manager has informed me that my points will not be accessible, and that I will be responsible for my sister's maintenance fees if she defaults! I still don't understand how my sister's purchase, in her name only, ended up in my account. My goal is to move my sister's points to her own account, and then my friend and I will pay to remove our names from the contract the three of us are on and move those points to my sister. The end result will allow my friend and I to remain Platinum and will also give my sister sole Platinum status. But without my sister's signature, I am told by Bluegreen that this will not happen. And with her points in my account, I am responsible for her maintenance fees. How do I get my sister's points out of my account?
