Careful with online bookings and multiple contracts

Just an FYI, although most here probably already know. When making reservations online, if you have more than one contract be careful to monitor which contract it comes from.

I made a HotWeeks reservation for this coming weekend at the Harbourfront Inn in Brechin (I believe this is the one that will be filing bankruptcy). Instead of taking points from my contract which ends Nov 30, 2011 it took them from points that did not expire until 2012.

A quick call to CS fixed this, but something to be aware of if you have not taken this into consideration in the past.

The same thing happens when u book thru the RCI/BG portal - take a shot of your account before the exchange and look again after they deduct the points - you usually have to call and ask them to adjust your account to take from the ones that will expire first.
