Change/Problem with BG/RCI Portal - since RCI "Enhancement" Weekend 10/14-17/11

Change/Problem with BG/RCI Portal.

The "usual" portal is gone.
Prior to the "enhancement" you logged into the BG owner website, then "Using the Club" then "Making Exchanges" then click on the "Get Started Now"

This took you away from the Bluegreen site to the RCI Portal.
Once there, it gave me the option to exchange in RCI weeks or RCI Nightly Stays (aka points).
There was a fixed BG points chart used. example - 1BR caribbean = 13,000 BGVC Pts.

Now when I log in, I go thru all the steps above and get to the RCI Portal.
But instead of seeing the options as listed above, there is only one option and it says points - but I see weeks (thru Oct 2013) and points exchanges????

And when I check my confirmed exchanges - all that were made thru the "Nightly Stays" option, instead of seeing 13,000 BGVC pts, i am seeing 105,000 points - see the example below.

I don't know but it looks like the RCI points equivalent.
I'll have to check the HGVC portal.

I'm gonna check Wyndhams portal.

Wyndham portal is down for the night.
Gotta check tomorrow.

Guess that was to be expected. It is one thing to fix things for you own customers, but they probably did not consider the consequences for the portals and the multitude of systems.

I still can not get into the SVC portal or BlueGreen. I get the "Terms and Conditions" box, but it is empty and there is no check box. It then says "done but with error's on the page" in the status bar.

Extremely frustrating, since last week there were 2 weeks at Calabogie Lodge for June 16 to the 23rd, but when I went to go book them they were gone. Now it looks like I may end up having to go OOP and rent a cottage for $2500 or more.

Yup portals aren't working.
That should take another long weekend to fix per portal.

They changed the points resorts to sort by city instead of alphabetically. Kinda sucks cause I used to see all the wyndhams all at once now you gotta search by area. Ay Yay Yay.

I respectfully disagree - yes, they are ALL listed together as if this was a traditional RCI points account. You can search the points inventory as well as raid the weeks with your points

It does not allow you to search weeks with weeks.

This is two different inventories I believe. Or I could be totally wrong.

In the Wyndham portal when I search and then see a week I want to book, it throws me out after I click on the week I want and takes me back to the search screen again. I'm using a Mac so who knows when it will work again properly.

It looks like with the portals you now have access to both the weeks and points just like a regular points member does but they've merged the inventory all into one place. If you only own a weeks account then I believe you won't see the points only deposited inventory but not vice versa. Did you get that?

Resale BG owners will only see the weeks that are there but "qualified" or "premiere" BG owners will see the weeks and points...kinda cool.

And since the BG to RCI grid is the same for points exchanges and week exchanges, this is easy to do.

Does Wyndham and Hilton have the same grid???

With HGVC you can see both points and weeks inventory with a resale purchase where with Wyndham you can only see weeks. Go figure.

IPad safari

Used to like searching RCI through traver's plus nightly stays. Ever since the alleged enhancement I can't get portal to work using any iPad browser. Anyone find a work around or solution on iPad?
