Blue Waters Resort, Nassau on Bonus Time?

I have been thinking about going to Nassau and giving the Blue Waters Resort a try. I understand it is still under renovation but open for business. A points reservation for this resort can not be booked online, for some reason, but I understand you can call in and book the resort.

It is listed online as being available for bonus time. I have never once seen any availability for bonus time. Has anyone had any luck getting in with bonus time? If so, what is the current daily rate for bonus time since it is a three bedroom?

I called this Monday trying to book this resort and was told there is no inventory posted for this resort. If you get a different answer, please share with us.

I was recently in the Bahamas and asked the taxi driver about the resort. He said it is receiving a BIG renovation and is well located by several other large resorts.
I am looking forward to staying there in the future.

I too am looking forward to trying out the resort. It seems like it has been a couple of years now since Bluegreen acquired it.

I have heard different stories. I spoke to reservations and they said you could book - but there are ongoing renovations and they can not recommend it as being of "Bluegreen quality" at this point. So, I held off.

However, I was in Marathon a few weekends ago and their sales agent told me several of his recent customers love the place and have been going there for a week during the off season. Gold and Platinum owners enjoy using their free week there.

The units appear to be huge.

I just wish Bluegreen would post some sort of status update on some of these properties under renovation so we have some idea of whether they are still available for booking or when they should come available for booking in the future. We have to plan our longer vacations a year ahead of time these days.
