My new CMV experiences. So far, so good.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just wanted to come back and post for those curious about these CMV units being given away like I was.

    http://tugbbs.com/forums/showthread....ta in+village

I've had my account set up now for only one month and so far I've been able to get 4 ressies and do four deposits. I gave one to RCI points, two to II and one to Platinum interchange.

BG has been very accomodating and the reps seem to understand how the UDI's work or else I've just been lucky so far.

If you're thinking about taking one of these or are curious, just wanted to share that I'm happy so far. Granted it's only been one month but I'm planning on fattening the TPU piggy bank and this is a great ownership to do that with.

Not sure if you know that we have a CMV HOA here. Would you like your thread moved there or do you prefer it to stay in the BG forum.

I would like to ask Chris how she deposited the UDI weeks in the smaller companies. I know how to deposit in RCI, but what is the process to deposit with the independants and how long does it take. i know you need to deposit quite a way out, and i haven't found a good use for the 45 dayers. I was able to get a 45 dayer for a Timbers owner who couldn't find any availability, but other than that not much.
I thinkt he dilemma is do you book as many weeks as possible or do you book only weeks with good trade values and thus take less weeks. If you deposit with the independants who will only take weeks further out, you lose a lot of potential bookings.

I've only deposited to RCI, II and PI so far.
Platinum Interchange was a little more involved than RCI or II but they were quicker in acknowledging the deposit.

With PI you have to fax in the request, then they verify it with BG and then you can exchange. It took only one day to get it verified. I've already got an ongoing request started with them. It's been 2 weeks and still counting for RCI and II.

I did a 21 day deposit and only RCI wanted it. Got 14.5K RCI points for it.
Would have been 10 TPU's. Not bad for a 21 day deposit IMO.

I actually like how PI works. They assign you someone to work with. I have her extension and email address. She's been very easy to get a hold of and go thru the process with. Something that I doubt I'd ever get with RCI, maybe with II. I think that's a plus for PI for sure. You can also book online if you want to.
