How do you see what is available for bonus time? I do not see how to do that. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I don't know if you can see them if you've just got a Sampler.
Under "Reservations" are "My Reservations" then "Points Reservations" then "Bonus Time Reservations," click on that. If it goes from "Points Reservations" to "Reservation Reminder," then you probably can't see them.
There's also a tab on the home page -- "Destination/Resort Search" is first, then "Experience Search" and last "Bonus Time Search."

Well, I called and was told that I would have to call each time I wanted to see what was available. I think that is just an unneeded pain in the butt. I thought calling for regular reservations was a pain but could half way see why that is, us being sampler package "owners".
Ok, [rant on]
How freakin hard would it be to create a database/reservation system for sampler folks? You already have a model in place for regular owners, simply copy that and restrict it to sampler folks!!!! ARGH!!!!! This is not the way to inspire folks to buy after trying. Telling me, "once you become a full owner you will be able to do all of this online" does not give me the warm fuzzy you think it will, in fact it is having the opposite effect. I am trying really hard to learn this system, with all of it's quirks(and with the help of the good folks here I am), but it's the little things like this that get under my skin and rub me the wrong way.
I know in a day or two this feeling will pass, but for right now this has kind of pissed me off a little.[rant off/]

Look at it this way - by calling, you get interaction! You can ask a zillion questions, have someone else do the search for you, maybe get a rep that has visited the resort you want to stay at, etc etc. hope that helps!
I do see your point, but I also see why BG would not make a whole new system just for sampler members. I also understand why you can't just use what's tehre as you could see a choice resort/time available only to find out that you can't have it, sampler owners can't go there ...
Wouldn't you be more pissed after getting the family excited late night about this dream trip being available, only to find out in the morning that you can't have it? Usign the phone system, they won't tempt you with things you can't have.
not sure this helped, but, just trying to add perspective that may assist in viewpoint adjustment.
Welcome to Bluegreen! As soon as you're a full owner ... ooops, I mean, uh, Welcome to Bluegreen!

Originally posted by kntbI completely understand that issue, I actually work in the IT field. That was just something that I needed to get off my chest. I know you are right in what you said, it's just I needed to say that, kinda like screaming under water. You helped, believe me.
I work in IT also. We know it's never as easy as the front end makes it look ; )
Once you've made a few calls and asked reps tons of things, you may find that even when you can do everything online, there is info you can only get from a human. I think the reps are awesome. I've been an owner about 12 years now, well before the online ressies, and am very pleased with them.
When I booked the trip I just took, I originally grabbed an online ressie with the full intention of calling next day to ask some questions about it. And of course, don't ever hesitate to call the resort itself.
I hope you manage to easily book your next vacation and find out every detail you want in one phone call!!
Meanwhile, we're glad you're here!

You are right, it is never as easy as most people think it is.
