          bluegreen giveaway

I really hope you are able to give this timeshare away but if that does not work out I do know of a company that does transfers for timeshare owners. Of course, there are fees associated with transferring a timeshare but this company does not wait for a buyer, they transfer the property into their name or a person within their company....Good Luck!

            SCAM alert

DON'T fall for the tactics of the previous poster. NEVER, EVER pay anyone an upfront fee to sell/give away your timeshare. Notice he calls himself a Timeshare Guru, but only has one post and just joined the forums. This is obviously someone preying on you.

You will have no problem giving it away yourself, either here or on TUG.

Just realized $10 of the $555 is a voluntary fee that you don't have to pay each year.

                  Phinsfan,

If you find a taker, let me know as I can help you with the transfer.

If you do not find a taker, let me know. I can liquidate it for you for the price of the transfer fee.

Hello, Is that the only place you can stay (pigeon forge) or can you stay at any of the other places owned by Bluegreen? If so, does that mean you can only stay somewhere every other year? Do you pay maint fees for the years you 'can't' stay?

                    Thank you,

                    Shauna

Hi Shauna - I think I can help some with your questions. Yes, the maintenance fee is annual. Yes, you can use the points at any Bluegreen property, based on availability. Meaning, you have to reserve the week you want ahead of time. The 10,000 points will get you into a studio or one bedroom. If you are interested in Bluegreen property, I would suggest you check the points chart so you will know what 10,000 points will get you. HTH

Thank you justamom2six I found this
                        http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...nt-charts.html
and it shed light on what the costs are.

Ok, so regardless of if one has a deeded timeshare that is bi-annual, you still pay maint fees every year, got it. Does that mean you can only use your points every other year as well? Basically with this particular timeshare listed here, it comes with 10k points every other year and has a week in November that can be used at the 'home' resort, also every other year, correct?

Now, a few things...can one make a one time purchase (or as needed/wanted) of points if more were needed? i.e I plan a vacation to anyone of the resorts Bluegreen is attached to and it will be 11k points but all I have is 10k, can I buy 1k points from someone or somewhere....or would I have to wait until it was time for me to get my bi-annual 10k points?

The difference between bi-annual and annual is when you get more points?? If you have points saved (or you bought them etc) and it's not your year, can you still book a vacation? Or do you only get to try and book dates during your year?

                        Shauna

                          MF's

                          I'm not sure what trust fund I'm in. My maintanence fees break down like this: MF 5,000 points x .02005 + $320 = $420.25 / RE tax 5,000 points x .00245 = $12.25 / Voluntary ARDA = $5.00 / MF 5,000 points x .02005 = $100.25 / RE tax 5,000 x .00245 = $12.25 / Voluntary ARDA = $5.00 which all TOTAL $555 due every Nov 15th. I do know $10 of that is VOLUNTARY & you don't have to pay that portion. My MF are paid in full thru Nov 15th 2012, & I do have 10,000 points available for use now. I hope this helps.

I believe she's asking that if the points are odd year points, can you use the
Points for an even year stay or are you only allowed to use in odd years?
