It depends on your situation. A timeshare is not for everyone. I would suggest you read some threads, and ask some questions, get opinions, then make a decision. A timeshare requires a certain commitment to planning, and a level of flexibility. Do you have kids, or can you travel in the offseason? Are you set on one certain area, or are you looking for a system that allows you to travel to different places.
A timeshare can be great, or a burden, it all depends on how you use it.

We have 2 school aged kids, & we are not good at working the system, so to speak. Its wonderful if you have the freedom to travel whenever, but we have a very specific window of 2 months in the summer, and because of their sports schedule, that 2 month window becomes even narrower.
