There are several strange things I have noted with properties on Bluegreen's online booking system recently.

1) Bluegreen's La Pension in New Orleans still does not show up on the online booking engine as a property that can be booked either through points or bonus time. When I have contacted Bluegreen they have said it is because the property has been down for renovations - which I am well aware of. However, it was supposed to be up and running by late February - early March. Wouldn't they at least be taking reservations for future stays? An attempt at getting on the premier waiting list for next year also failed - was told there isn't one because the property is currently closed. I have been seeing this property show up on Interval for trade this summer/fall - but still no availability on Bluegreen. Will they wait until the day it opens to take any new reservations - then it will be a free for all?

2) The website indicated the new Studios in Savannah are open for bonus time only. Since the time I got the announcement, I have been going on religiously every AM to try and make a bonus time reservation. I have not once seen anything available - even for a short two day trip. Does bonus time open at 12 AM or 9 AM for the 48 day out window? I have tried both. Has anyone seen any availability there for bonus time? I realize it is probably popular but it seems as though nothing is showing up at all.

3) Any status on when Select Connections will be available to book online? I was originally told the beginning of this year, but I haven't seen any change. Still waiting for the Nassau property to open up booking as well - seems like that property has been taking a really long time.

Some resorts still not available for online booking

Based on my experience, there have been a couple of times where BG has made announcements but not everyone was informed and on board.

Not sure when you last looked, but as of right now, I can search in bonus time for the following two resorts;

Sandhurst Hotel & Beach Resort — Hutchinson Island Florida
The Studio Homes at Ellis Square — Savannah, Georgia

Neither of these are available as points reservations yet.

From what I know, the following resorts are not yet available for booking either online or for bonus time;

Paradise Isle Resort — Gulf Shores, Alabama
Bluegreen Club La Pension™ — New Orleans, Louisiana
Bluewater Resort — Nassau, NS

I would tend to agree, that they should be at least taking reservations even if it not available online. Perhaps the renovations are not yet complete. Keep in mind; I believe BG only has SOME units at La Pension. What you may be seeing in II may be deposits from other owners.

As for the Savannah property, I have yet to see any availability there either. Not surprising how nice the property is, and only checking weekends. Would be surprised to some extent though if there were nothing mid-week though for two nights.

One question I still have is when the booking window opens for reservations each day - is it at 9 each morning when Bluegreen opens, or is it at midnight? In other words, if I want to book 48 days out for Bonus Time or 11 months out for points - do I try at midnight or do I have to wait till 9 AM?

I agree that it wouldn't be surprising to not see bonus time availability on weekends in Savannah. However, what I was doing was checking two day blocks in the middle of the week to see if anything would show up - nothing. You know how tedious that can be with Bluegreen. You have to click one date combination after another after another. There is no way to just look at a calendar of availability for a particular month, or do a search for anything available within a certain time period. That is one thing Bluegreen should really fix. During an owner's update I was told they thought Bluegreen was looking into that - but that was over a year ago.

What I don't understand with New Orleans is if they don't take bookings until the property is physically open again, seems like they would have several weeks there with no guests - except for some of the folks that originally owned at that resort that might be able to book ahead of time. If Interval is listing exchanges, they obviously expect it to be complete soon. I guess we just have to stay tuned. The reservations agents don't seem to know.

BT at 48 days

BT opens at midnight 48 days out for almost all resorts. You can book Club La Pension through BG's phone line but not for stays in February or March.
