  • Newbie - HUGE QUESTION

So I'm pretty sure you guys have answered this question before but I just prepaid for my Vegas presentation/3 day-2 nights. I was given a $25 Pro Bass gift card, which I already used.

Is there any legitimate way of getting out of going to the initial presentation? I'm having huge second thoughts about this timeshare. I currently own Disney and Hilton Grand Vacation and am very pleased. I am a sucker for signing up in the first place but I was in a good mood and went along for the ride. If the ride costs me $99, then so be it. I just want out.

    Thank you!

    Have a Goodtime

If I were you, unless you just can't go, I would go to the 'sales pitch', collect whatever they may offer in gifts and then have a nice time in Vegas. All you have to do is say 'No Thank You' and move on. They can't make you sign anything. Two hours of sales babbling is not too bad for the stay at Club 36. We are going there in March for the NASCAR race and to see a couple of shows.

I could be wrong, but when you signed up, the small print says if you don't show, you'll be billed "normal rates" for your stay.

I think you're obligated to go or you will pay for the time you're there. Just say no. You don't need to do anything more than that. Good luck!

You got a special price to stay with restrictions.
          My opinions:
Don't go to Vegas. Write off the money you paid and don't make the trip.
If you do go to Vegas, then attend the presentation.
Or, as Falmouth3 indirectly said, you could tell them no and then pay full price for your stay.
