Are you refering to Kris Koski? She just handled our two Christmas Mountain Village transfers and did a wonderful job. Kept us informed every step of the way and quickly got back to us whenever we had questions.

I third the recommendations on working with Boca and/or Kris. It would be a wonderful world if everyone would adopt their professionalism.

Hey guys, thanks again for all the advice and clearing this up.

The current owner is having a hard time getting BG to return his call in getting the transfer process going. Can anyone help in maybe getting in touch with someone on this process within the BG corp. Thanks

If you want Kris to do it. It will cost you a little more (about $100), but it will be done within 2-3 weeks if you and the seller get her everything you need. She will also verify the ownership so that you can be sure to get what you said you wanted.

One thing that you should know is that most title companies disburse funds before the transfer is complete (if you use escrow services). Kris does not do that. The reason this becomes an issue is that there are a surprising number of clients who make RCI exchanges after close but before transfer. If your account is coming with points, you are at risk of not getting all of your points unless the funds are escrowed. If you are paying transfer fees only, then that may not be as much of an issue for you. But, it does happen a lot.

Has the current owner gone to the BG Website and followed their directions for what to do? It's all laid out with the proper forms, etc.? But working with Kris is a breeze, and probably faster.

Hey all thanks again for the tips. The current owner has the paper work and has been in touch with BG. I have a couple of other questions based on my last conversation. Since this TS is in SC, does state law mandate a 3rd party be involved with the BG transfer. I haven't seen this mentioned in previous posts concerning this?

Also, I guess I am a little confused by the points distribution.

The anniversary date is July, however, the MF's are due in November. So when we pay this November we are paying for 2013, yet the points are not distributed until July 1st, 2013. Since this is a deeded week of July 4th how do we guarantee we get this week since we technically have to book in May of 2013 or are we basically buying points for 2014? We really want to be able to book for 2013 but the way it's set up is odd. The points for this year have not been used, so we could basically use this years to book next year. So we basically are always going to be borrowing or double our MF's for one year. I guess we can pay our MF's early per BG.

Am I making sense in this?
