Most of the red two bedrooms in Bluegreen system cost 15k-18k points. But to exchange in RCI for red two bedroom I need to deposit 20k. How does that work? I was in the process of buying red two bedroom Hershey unit that gives me 15k Bluegreen points. Hershey is hard to get resort but not good enough to exchange into any red two bedroom with RCI? Please clue me in as I'm totally confused

In the old world, where you were actually depositing a summer week at The Suites I would agree with you. You would or should see everything. In the new world you are dealing with a points "currency" and you have to go by what RCI (and I assume BG) have determined that rate of exchange is.

As with all the portal currencies, you will find some things that don't work to your benefit, such as your example, and some things that work VERY well. There are people here that can point you to some of the more glaring discrepancies. A lot of it is trial and error.
