I was toying around with the bonus time interface at Bluegreenonline and I found out something pretty cool.
We already know that you can book a single night for bonus time if you pay for 2 nights. What I didn't know is that you can do that for multiple one-night stays at the same resort.
It's possible because there are often times single days left when for instance if someone checks out on Jun 5 and the next person is scheduled to check in on June 6. That makes the night of June 5 available in that unit.
If there is another unit available on June 6, you can book that one, too. You have to change rooms, but you can gain access to a resort that has been booked solid for months.
Here is what I did. I had a studio unit booked for 2 nights of bonus time at Big Cedar that I booked last month. But now, I upgrade to one night in a 3 bedroom cabin and another night in a 2 bedroom cabin. I have to pay $138 for the 3 bedroom cabin and $118 for the 2 bedroom cabin instead of $39/night in the studio and I've got to change rooms, but what the heck. I'd rather have the bigger units. And, I'll be able to take more pictures for the board to see the different timeshare plans. Cool, huh?
Bonus time rocks!
