Ken, you need to read the whole ad like Boca most likely did. Here below in that ad is something that appears you missed. I was able to pick up a CMV UDI several years ago at a decent price because the ad was mixed up.

IMHO a UDI is a far better usage deal even at SC then a quarter share is. Of course I belive a UDI Oak Timbers is the best UDI to own.

Ask Boca why a UDI is better for usage because I am to slow of a typer to post the reasons why I belive that.

So when you are there you don't have to go off the property to entertain yourself
and your family. The Maintenance Fees are $952.00. The Maintenance fees are
high, but so is the amount of usage that you can have.

AGAIN TO RECAP --- this is so exciting!! You the owner can have up to 3 reservations
scheduled at any one time. 1 can be a red prime time week. These weeks can be
banked with RCI or II and exchanged to another resort, say in Florida. The weeks can
be used at the resort and the per night charge does apply. Once a week that you
scheduled, has been used, you can call and make another reservation etc.... The plan
works like a Quarter Share so there is unlimited ability to vacation all during the year.
And if you live close you can also take advantage of the unlimited Day Usage.

Bruce, don't even think of expanding your empire eastward.

I did do the week for points exchange with RCI and am staying in South Carolina in a few weeks.
Still haven't finished closing on the other one.

But I can not help note that I could get 2,3, or 4 SC UDI's for the cost of only one CMV UDI.

If you read everything you can see that they've broken down the costs to a maintenance fee and a Recreation fee that total $950ish per year!!!

I used to own four of these but I sold them back to BG for $2500 each, could never find the rental market niche that I was hoping for.

How do the recreation fees differ from the maintenance fees? The ad says the recreation fees, about $500, have been paid this year.

Fees

To my knowledge the fees of approximately $950 as broken down by and explained by Spence fall in to the categories of maintenance and recreation fees. I believe you must pay both and cannot for example opt out of the recreation fees if you didn't want to use any recreational features. I think it's the resorts way of explaining to the consumer the cost of their annual fees.

If someone has a different and possibly better explanation please write in as this is only my understanding from reading previous posts.

Way to go VV,

I think you need 7 UDIs to be the UDI king.

Pretty soon you will start a small renting and resale business to keep up with your purchases.

Then, once you start traveling once or twice per week, you may end up firing your boss, moving to Hawaii and timesharing full time.

Nah, that would never happen in reality, now would it?
