At a recent owner's update at Big Cedar, we were told that Bluegreen is no longer allowing people to combine points to reach premier status. The sales associate stated that from now on one would have to buy enough points all at once to qualify for a specific premier level in addition to their current points. So if one owned 10,000 points they could not just buy 5,000 to get into bronze. They would have to buy 15,000 at once and have two accounts. One with 10,000 and a bronze level with 15,000. This is supposedly being done to preserve the benefit of being a premier level owner. This move apparently "upset" Johnny Morris (owner of Bass Pro and Big Cedar Lodge), thus we were offered a one-time chance of buying into a premier level using our current points. Has anyone else heard of anything like this? Thanks
