I have been reading over the forums and I have a couple of questions.

First I am not an owner, but my parents are. They want to be able to pass down their ownership to my family one day. Does Bluegreens first right of refusal affect inheritance? Or would it be best to just add us to the deed now?

They are currently at bronze status, but I have seen at the silver level you can pay for maintenance with points, what is the points to dollar exchange rate?

Other than priority booking, is there any benefit of your deeded location?

Hello and welcome to TS4Ms.
If you inherit your parents TS or even if they want to transfer the ownership to you before their death, there would be no ROFR.
That only applies to a sale outside of the family and is very rarely (never say never!) exercised by BG.
Honestly, I would think it would be easier to add your name now so you have full benefit of the ownership....such as booking bonus time that can only be used by the deeded owners.

It is not worth it to upgrade to silver to pay MFs using points - I do not know what the conversion is (sorry!) but it is a poor use of points. At the time I was purchasing my contracts, I did ask and was aghast at what a poor value it is.

By priority booking, I assume you mean that at 13months to 11 months 1 day before check-in you can choose to use your deeded week. Some people who want to go to Big Cedar in July search/hunt on ebay for these deeds. Other then wanting to reserve your owned week, there is no benefit, points are points.

Since you are Bronze, you can already wait-list for a reservation at 12 months - you might want to look into getting some more resale points (practically free) to add to your ownership.....but if you are going to change your ownership papers to include your name, wait until this is done so ALL your ownerships will be in the same account with the same name.
